I have always wanted a replica of the choker to have for myself. I purchased an artisan made choker off of Etsy that I adore, but I wanted official merchandise (I love prop jewelry). <br /> <br />As a collector's item, this is great. As a jewelry piece...if I had to choose, I'd pick my less accurate but very well made artisan piece over this one. Keep in mind, it is labeled as a toy so I can't fault it much. The center crest piece has a very nice weight to it. The ribbon is very cute but I wish it was more of a velvet rather than velveteen. Creases disappear more easily on velvet; the parts of the ribbon that were folded over in the back have permanent impressions. I had to cut the snaps off and add ribbon ends and clasps because I didn't like the feel of the snaps at the back of my neck and hanging off (I have a smaller neck). <br /> <br />Overall, I still think this is a great piece to have. I bought one for myself and one for my sister. We like them and they really aren't recognizable as part of the movie franchise (at least to the average enthusiast).
