I had to borrow this off of a friend who bought hers in a certain “Mart” the day it came out because I couldn’t wait. I unfortunately per-ordered with Amazon and still do not have my book! Never again will I make this mistake again. I will pay the few extra dollars to have my books right away.

But the book is excellent and true Twilight fans will love it..its definitely darker but its an awesome change that I found to be really cool. Apparently a lot of the scenes from Bree Tanner are in the Eclipse movie from what I understand. Can’t wait for Eclipse the movie! (I also can’t wait for my book!)

Just curious…anyone else pre-order and not get theirs yet?

I knew it was going to be a small little book but I am so glad I bought it. I was curious about what the newborns were told and what their living conditions were.

    Freaky Fred — loved him!

Ummm??? Ok. Well, I do not really know what to say about this book. Only that I do not know why, she wrote it.

The book had nothing to do with any of the Twilight saga books. Which the author, clearly stated in the beginning of the book. The book has nothing to do with Bell and Edward and there “love story”. This is simply a story about Bree Tanner who becomes a vampire.

Bree struggles to be good, but can not becuse she is only around bad vampires, that only look out for themselves. Bree is afraid that if she leaves her vampire gang, she will be killed.

Bree is really trying to find out why she became a vampire. Bree struggles to find out how her body, as a vampire works. In the attempt to find out a truth about her existence. She meets a friend named Diego, an 18 year old boy has a troubled back ground. Diego and Bree search and discover that Riley the clan leader has been lying to them all along.

She later finds out that, the reason why she was created was, because she was supposed to kill a human girl named Bella Swan. Bree’s, does not know the real reason why Riley,is so interested in killing this human girl Named Bella.

Riley never intended for any of the 22 members vampires, including her,to ever survive the fight between the Cullens and the Wolves. She struggles to survive for 3 months and is trained to fight for 4 days.

I had read that Stephenie Meyer might write some spin-offs in the future, and I had wondered how interested I would be in them when not centered on the main Saga characters. However, I quite enjoyed this little novella. It was entertaining and fun to read. I had to remind myself a couple of times that I wasn’t in Bella’s head though (Bree is similarly protected by those around her while being strong in her own right). Now, I believe that, should Ms. Meyer publish more spin-offs in the future, I would be interested in them as well.
