I love this book! The illustrations are imaculate, and it is worded so easily so kids can understand. The colors Barbara uses on the Grandfathers robes are so calming and beautiful. This book is so calming and relaxing, it is a great book for any young children to fall asleep to. And if you find that you like this book, Barbara also wrote another great book called When the Sun Rose. Feel free to check that book out also. This is a great book and if Barbara Berger somehow gets a chance to read this review, you should be proud of this book and I am sure that all of that hard work payed off.

I bought this book for my niece a while back and was very impressed by it. The pictures are awesome, the text is great, the story flows…and most of all, my niece loves it!

this is a wonderful, breathtaking book. the illustrations are magical. my preschooler and toddler adore this book.

I looked high and low for this book and found it here. It was in stock, arrived quickly and in a padded envelope. The book was in perfect shape and my son (20 months) likes to have Daddy read it to him before bed. Beautiful pictures.

This book was a favorite of mine as a child and now I read it to my daugher all the time. She loves that beautiful pictures and gets excited to see the dog follow Grandfather twilight. Such a calming a peaceful story to tell children before bed.
